Template Mashup – Sweet Life
Hi there! It’s Cori (@CoriK) here with our 2nd Template Mashup of May! I landed on these two beautiful templates for our mashup this month. I loved the “Sweet Life” sentiment, the mix of photo frames, the banner and all of those fun elements. I hope you’re inspired to scrap this sweet life and mash these two templates with us!
If this is your first time joining us, the rules are pretty simple – take parts from each of the templates and rearrange them on a new page of your own design. It’s ok to add a couple of additional KPD elements if you wish. Post your completed page in the Template Mashup Gallery and also in the May Participation Thread in the forum for points towards a store discount for completing challenges.

Sweet Life Layered Template 01
Several team members were inspired to play along with this challenge and created some lovely pages. Let’s take a look!
First, we have this adorable page by Valerie (@nana_vg). I absolutely love how she mashed these two templates. The chevrons filled with patterned paper and journaling look fabulous and what a great mix of fun elements! In addition to the two templates, Val used Dreamy Paper Pack 03. It is so perfect with these templates!
Next, we have this super cute page from Kathy (@Blackkathy). I love her title and clusters of elements – so perfect for that precious photo! Kathy added that pretty background paper from My Family Geneology Records Paper Pack 03 in addition to the two templates.
Next up is this stunning page from Rachael (@myssp). Rachael’s layering really makes her page pop! I also love the empty photo frames and her amazing shadowing. Rachael also used the Kitlet Solids Paper Pack and Artsy Paint Type Clusters Brushes and Stamps 02.
Finally, we have this wonderful page by Jen (@jdipzinski). Jen’s mashup is so creative! I love the orientation of the photos and title. And the strip of photo-filled chevron frames is fabulous!! In addition to the two templates, Jen added background paper from the Fall Market Solids Paper Pack.
The team really rocked this challenge! It’s always so much fun to see how different the mashups can look using the same templates! I hope you’re feeling inspired to play along and join us for our 2nd Template Mashup in May!
