Template Mashup: Frames and Flowers

Hello! This is Merr! I’m here with another Template Mashup Challenge. This challenge is to choose to display one photo or many photos and then to have fun adding extra embellishments which you pick and choose from the two templates featured here. It’s OK to use additional designs if you wish from your stash of Katie Pertiet Designs. After completing your page, please post it in our Gallery plus in the Challenge Participation Thread in the forum so you get credit towards earning a rewards discount code to use in our store.

I am grateful to my Creative Team members, Kathy, Addie and Valerie for giving me excellent examples to share with you.
Just look how happy this page is created by Kathy! It’s the smiles on the girls’ faces, plus, the flowers surrounding the sweet photo that makes this page full of light and joy. Kathy used a beautiful paper from Field Notes Paper Pack to achieve the look of the sunburst in her background.

I love that Addie used the large mask for her background photo and then used several of the smaller photo frames to include extra photos of her succulent plants. I’m noticing the cute garden fence, too. I think she is a master gardener! Addie’s background paper for showcasing her amazing succulent plants is from Textured Whites Paper Pack 02.

Valerie is a regular Blog Star for this challenge! The multiple photo frames and the white flowers worked perfectly for her to create a page for the photos of her granddaughter celebrating at a special birthday gathering. The meaningful title is from one of the templates and that little heart charm is precious. Her pretty background paper is from Krafty Garden Simple Essentials Paper Pack .

And, here’s my page for the Challenge. I decided to go back into my photo archives and scrap some photos taken in May of 2017. There was never enough time to include every photo in a scrapbook page back when these were taken, so, doing a look back page is very rewarding. A paper from Palette Textures No 13 was clipped to a paint layer from one of the templates and my background was created by blending two papers from Lightly Linens 02 and Williams Solids Paper Pack.

Thanks, again, to my teammates for their inspiring examples. I’ll be looking for more mashing examples popping up in our Gallery soon. Remember, the templates for the Challenge are included in the Quarterly sale making this a great time to snatch up a couple templates you will use not only for this challenge, but, again and again as you create scrapbook pages.
May your time scrapping photos bring you much enjoyment. We have the best hobby, I think!
