Color Challenge May: Cherry blossom pink

Hi, Chrissy here, welcome to the color challenge for May! This month I’m inspired by nature, I love cherry blossom, as I type this I can see a tree in my neighbour’s garden laden with blossoms. It is always such a pretty colour palette with the pink and green. I can see this palette being used for nature pages, fun times in the garden or for girly pink pages.

I asked the creative team to create pages inspired by this palette, and I love the difference it can make as you adjust the proportions of each colour used. 

First up is (ErinR) with this super cute page of fun outdoor play. I love the neutral background allowing the photo to shine.

Next up is Mel (Britgirl) with this fun photo with her dog. I love that the soft green is used for the background, and the pinks really pop. Again the delicate brushwork is gorgeous contrasting with layered elements under the photo.

Our next page comes from Rachael (Myssp). This one features another cute dog moment, I love the perspective of this shot and the vertical band anchoring the elements. The stacked layers are perfect for this unposed photo.

Last but certainly not least is Kelly (wsprite_ad) with this great selfie page, we should always aim to include ourselves in our pages. I love that she’s included some flowers in the page and the soft masking is lovely along with the delicate brushwork.
