Template Mashup: Decorated With Love
A very warm welcome to the first of our Template Mashups in December! I’m digigrandma (aka Merr) and I invite you to join in on this very fun way to scrap using two templates. The idea is to choose parts of each of the featured templates to create a new page of your own design. It is perfectly OK to add any other designs from the KP Designs store to complete your page and it is also OK to only use the parts included in the templates. I usually find everything I need in the two templates and only add a background paper. Remember, too, that the templates for this challenge are included in the Thursday sale. If you haven’t already started decorating for the holidays, I think these two templates will get you in the mood!

To help you get started, Jana, Valerie, Cori and I created examples of how we mashed the templates. We all went with the Decorated With Love theme for our pages.
First up is Jana sharing photos of how her home is already looking festive and bright for the holidays. I love that she used a festive looking plaid paper for her split page design. I admire how her design fills the whole page.
Jana’s supplies are from December Sentiments 02, Painted Plaids 04, Country Christmas Solids Paper Pack, Farmhouse Christmas Solids and Farmhouse Christmas Paper Pack.
Not only are the angel ornaments Valerie (aka nana_vg) photographed very beautiful, but, the story of how they came to be collected and cherished is very special. The angels are just charming and so is Valerie’s page.
To complete her mashup Valerie used American Country Scrapbooking Kit, North Pole Solids Paper Pack and North Pole Dots and Stripes Paper Pack
And, Cori (aka CoriK) showcases her beautifully decorated Christmas tree on her fabulous page. I just love how the long vertical photo allows us to see the whole tree festooned with plaid ribbons and family favorite ornaments. Cori’s choice of background paper is from Lightly Linens Paper Pack 02.
I also used photos of favorite Christmas decorations in my example. My background paper is from Vintage Artistry Countryside Add-on.
