Template Mashup: Blended Photos

Hi Everyone! Merrilee (aka digigrandma) here with the first Template Mashup Challenge for June. Combining a blended photo with framed photos is a look I  admire on digital scrapbook pages. This time I chose two templates that make it easy to combine a blended photo layer with one or more framed photo layers. You are invited to join in on this Challenge by creating a new design of your own by combining parts of both of these templates. Just add a background paper of your choice and you’re done! (Or, feel free to add any additional elements from the KPD store to complete your design.) These templates are included in the Thrifty Thursday Sale this week!

Blendables Layered Template No 73

Frame and Blend Story Layered Template 01

This page is exactly what I had in mind when I chose the templates for this Mashup! This beautiful example of blending with framed photos is by Julie (aka Maggie Mae). The I Do Solids Paper Pack completes the page.

Valerie (aka nana_vg) created this stunning historical page with two blended photos and two framed photos, plus, she used the generous text layer included in one template to tell the story; one we will never forget! Her additional designs are Classic Curled Photo Frames 07 and Color Swatch Toast Paper Pack.

There is something so peaceful and serene about the scene Lori Ann (aka lmaggs) scrapped for her example. The smaller framed photo lets us know this scene was photographed while on a driving trip in Vermont. Very clever! Anzio Paper Pack and Ombre Essentials Paper Pack 05 complete her page.

For my own Mashup example I chose to highlight photos from my grandson’s senior year of high school. I only added a background paper from I Do Solids Paper Pack.

There you have it! Now, let’s see how you use the templates to combine blending and photos in an original new design. Please post in the Gallery plus in the June Challenge Participation Thread if you are earning the Rewards Discount Code.
