Template Mashup – Best Day
Hello! It’s Cori (@CoriK) popping in with our 2nd Template Mashup Challenge of the month!
If this is your first time joining the Template Mashup, the rules are pretty simple! The challenge is to blend elements from our two featured templates to create a page. A few additional items can be used as well. Post your completed pages in the Template Mashup Gallery. Don’t forget – you can earn points toward a discount in the store by posting your page in the July Participation Thread in the forum using all KPD products.
I landed on two delightful templates that made me think of sharing a special day. I loved the different frames and embellishments between these two Layer Works Templates.
The Creative Team really stepped it up with some fabulous mashups!

I love Merr’s gorgeous page and photos. It’s so clever how she used the mask for her large photo and then framed the other photo with a perfect bow on top! Lovely mashup! Merr also used the Text Textures Paper Pack 02 for her page.

Jana’s page is so beautiful and the pastels are perfect for that adorable photo. In addition to the two templates, Jana used Textured Cardstocks Smitten Paper Pack, Partial Page Masks 08, Chippy Blooms Paper Pack 03, Pencil Line Patterns Paper Pack 01, and Scribbled Overlays 02. Her mashup is so pretty and that chippy paper is the perfect addition!

Rachel’s page definitely showcases a wonderful family day together! I love the chippy paper mixed with the large square in the background! She included the fun frames, word art and embellishments! Rachel also added Chippy Botanist Paper Pack 02 and paper from the Curated Team Favorites In the Garden Kit for her background. Gorgeous mashup!

Val did such an amazing job mixing elements from the two templates. Aren’t the blues stunning with her photos and “chilled vibe?” In addition to the two templates, Val also used ARToptions Mini Mix 25 for the paper clipped to the mask, Color Swatch Combo Ocean Breeze Scrapbooking Kit for the paper clipped to the square, and Dreamy Paper Pack 03.
