Story Scrapbook Challenge : Lists

Hi it’s Carol here for another fun Story challenge.  For some people telling a story can be daunting.  For me I usually think where, when, who, what, how and set about covering those areas.  But still daunting.

Another way to tell a story is by a list – it tells so much about you right here right now and a great way to memory keep. Look at Trace’s pages in the gallery, she uses lists a lot to mark a point in time or tell a story.

So here’s some ideas for telling a story by using lists: Your favourite books, best movies, memorable songs that have struck a chord. A bucket list of goals you want to accomplish. Places you have lived, jobs you’ve had. A list of what you have done during the day.  A list of pets you’ve had, holidays you have taken, pics of hairstyles you have gone through.  A list of people you’d like to invite to a dinner party – go wild!!  Check lists, a shopping list (goodness knows what prices will be like in the future), guest lists, reading lists, to do lists.  How do you make your lists – on the phone, scrappy pieces of paper, blackboard on the wall.

So many ways to use lists to tell your story, this was a really fun challenge and I love the pages the creative team have done as examples.

Be prepared to be green with envy, Jana’s list page tells the perfect story for what she needs to remember for an upcoming trip to Sicily.  I love all the details on the page, it’s so fun and will make a perfect addition to her holiday album.
