Story Scrapbook Challenge : It must be love, love, love!

It must be love, love, love!  February, Valentines month, and what better opportunity to make a page about love.  But I’m casting the net wide, before some of you pooh pooh that we don’t need a specific month to celebrate love.  Bear with me on this one.

This month I want you to tell a story about love any which way you’d like.

Perhaps when you met the love of your life, the day he/she proposed, the moment you knew you were in love.  Maybe the love you feel for a new baby in the family?  So many emotions come along with that love.  The love of a grandparent, it knows no bounds, maybe talk about that.

I mentioned about casting the net wide – how about the love of a new car, ahhh that new car smell.  The love of a good book you want to read over and over again.  The love of your favourite dessert, or your favourite outing, maybe your outing to get that dessert!!

The love of a piece of jewellery, what does it mean to you?  How about when you’re dressed in your favourite outfit and loving yourself sick.  The love of the sanctuary of your home.  The love of a specific piece of furniture.  The unconditional love of your furbabies.  Is there a decade you have loved above all others?

We love so many people and things and times throughout our lives, now’s the time to tell that story, make sure it’s part of your scrapbooked memories.   I can’t wait to read them and see your beautiful pages.

The creative team have jumped on board with some terrific example pages:

I adore the warm cosiness of Joanne’s page.  She speaks of the love of her house where she spends her summers, and the feelings of sanctuary it brings her.  Most definitely a happy place she has created there.

Supplies Joanne has used:  Spill Frame Page Layered Template 5ARToptions Bookshelf Paper pack 3Bold Sentiment Tages Brushes and stamps 1.

And for my page, move over husband, this love is all about the specific time we had three furbabies.  These three were a package deal they loved each other.  And I loved them all fiercely, equally and separately and together.
