Story Scrapbook Challenge : a Story about your Sweetheart

How fortuitous that the story scrapbook challenge falls on Valentine’s day and yes some might groan because we don’t need one special day to value and love on our other half.  But it does take sitting down one day to do a page and tell a story about them, and people today is that day.  It’s Carol here with another Story Scrapbook Challenge for you.

I want you to simply tell a story about your sweetheart.  Maybe you would like to share the virtues he, she or they have that drew you in.  What did you first notice that made you think, hmmm I’d like to find out more about this person before cupid’s love arrow stuck you right in the behind!

Does your sweetheart have a specific habit that shows their love – remember there are supposedly five love languages.  It’s not always chocolates and flowers.

How did you meet?  Can you relay a beautiful memory?  A funny memory?  Maybe even a tortuous memory?  This is your story, it doesn’t always have to be all hearts and flowers.

I hope you will play along.  We scrap so much about our children or grandchildren, it will be so nice to include a page about your relationship in with your cherished family memories.  Your children or special people in your lives will thank you for it.

Oh my gosh Amy’s page is what it’s all about.  The little things that make up the big picture of a loving relationship.  And sometimes we don’t notice those little things but Amy sure does.  So wonderful to put these words down on a page.

And lastly for my page I got hubby to take the Love Languages test, google it to find out more.  It’s really interesting and despite taking the tests separately and not talking about it, our results are so very alike.  I call that a perfect match.
