Something Old, Something New

Hi Everyone!

It’s Trace (tracermajig) back again for another Something Old, Something New challenge. This month we are playing with frames!

Katie has an enormous amount of frames in the shop and it was hard to choose! But in the end I decided to choose several different kinds of frames. Here’s what we are playing with!

As always, Katie has kindly provided a freebie to get you started. Feel free to use the freebie or any frames from these packs if you have them in your stash. The only rule for this challenge is to use an old product and new product together.

I love how Addie (AddieG) combined the frames to highlight these special photos of her in-laws and their granddaughters. I also love the added touch of the stitched waves to help highlight they are on the water!

Next up we have Stacia (Stacia). I love the combination of the large photo and smaller slide frames. This is a great design to help highlight certain parts of a photo.

For my (tracermajig) page, I had one particular photo that I wanted to use and I also wanted to highlight my son. The easiest way I found to do that was to create a grid design and add a different frame over top to bring the focus to him. I was so happy with the end result!
