Something Old, Something New

Hi friends, it’s Trace (tracermajig) back for the November Something Old, Something New challenge! The end of year is fast approaching and this month our challenge is using a mish mash of different sentiments. I hope you can play along!

As always, there is only one rule for this challenge and that is to use an old and new product on your page. If you have these element packs in your stash, feel free to use anything from them. Or you can use the freebie that Katie has generously provided.

One thing that I love about this challenge is how even though we all start off with the same products, the pages that the team create always turn out so differently! Let’s see where the inspiration took us!

I just love how Sharon (Shannamay) used the taped word strips as part of her journaling. And the stamping in the background is such a wonderful effect!

Kelly (wsprite_ad) created such a beautiful page. I love how she created two clusters but tied them together with the repetition of the ‘love this’ sentiment. The addition of the other sentiments from the challenge elements really helps to tell the story of her page.

I (tracermajig) didn’t really have a plan for my page other than I wanted to try to use all 4 element packs. They were perfect to help tell the story of my Mum’s recent 70th birthday.
