Saturday Scraplift: Trinkets, Tags and Tea Stains

Happy Saturday! It’s time for the Saturday Scraplift and I hope you are excited to see this week’s lift. I decided that Sharon’s (Shannamay) page needed to be brought to everyone’s attention. Although the subject of the page is her daughter’s anxiety about the future, I thought the words were beautiful, and the page design was as well. I just really love all the elements and their placement almost in a row. Just really draws the eye to the photo and journaling. The addition of the glitter branches also helps to break the grid a bit along with the subtle pink tea stain.

Up first with her interpretation is Shannon (shannonroller) who not only took inspiration from the design but also from, “how life can be difficult and good things take time.” It gave her a chance to document a difficult week at work for her son with his own words. Love the blues and how she stayed true to Sharon’s overall element placement. And radish pickles sound delicious!

Up next is Kate (OKate) who was inspired by Sharon’s lovely layers. She also used a similar background design but ramped up the grunge for a industrial floral vibe. I think I just made that up, but I’m sticking with it. 🙂

And finally, Rachael (myssp) with this darling page about her pup. Pretty sure that’s not how you’re supposed to wear a bow tie but it works for him! Love how she used a lot of block elements but then broke the grid with foliage, wood letters, doodles and script words. Awesome.
