Saturday Scraplift: Rock the Quote!

Hi all! It’s Amy L bringing you this week’s Saturday Scraplift. This week we’ll be lifting this elegant page by Kathie:

I love this page for the simple design, the subject matter, and the cool brushwork in the background of both the page and the photo. And the quote! It’s a good one, and I’m a sucker for word art placed in the empty space of a photo. So, lots to be inspired by here, and our Creative Team members have come up with some great examples for you.

First up is Shannon with a lovely wedding page. The text on this page is so poignant, inspiring me to give my husband’s hand a squeeze today! The black and white photo is simply beautiful. I love how Shannon masked the upper photo and added her quote on it. Just gorgeous all around!

Next is Valerie, who made a page for a Words of Wisdom album. I just love that idea! And so cool that she echoed the sentiment of her quote with the square and rectangle. The pretty branch softens the lines. I just love this quote!

Next up is Sharon with a wonderful lift of Kathie’s page. The bokeh in the photo is fabulous, and the colors are so well used throughout. I love her quote as well, and the brushes are divine!

Finally, I was mostly inspired by Kathie’s subject. I wasn’t sure there was a dog quote I hadn’t used, but I found one that fit the bill! I really enjoyed playing with Katie’s new Garden Chronicles collection on this page.
