Saturday Scraplift: One Photo, One Word

Happy Fall, Y’all! 🙂 In my  (Wendy) neck of the woods, it’s perfectly fall. Love the change of temps, leaves and season. Let’s go! So this week, I chose a great Fall page for us to lift. Kate (OKate) made this simply stunning page and I just loved it. The simple background pattern, the small featured photo and the hand drawn word art really worked well.

Everyone wanted to jump in to help inspire you this week. Here are some of their takes. Up first is Jheri with these darling ladies getting in on the good stuff! Such a cute photo to feature like this and that subtle heart on the end of the title is a great detail!

Liz (lizziet5) leaned a bit away from the simplicity (and shorter supply list…LOL) but wow does this layout pop! He’s such a charmer and the title work and elements really work with his shades.

Up next is Candy (cnewby) with this brilliant subtly bold page. Love the word art and how she created depth with opacity and shadow. So striking.

Rae (bcgal00) blended her background paper with her eagle photo and the colors are striking. What an amazing image to be able to capture on your morning walk!

Finally, here’s my take on the SSL. I love photos from behind and the hike up Spencer Butte gave me a lot of them as my daughter is a bit more spry than I am. 😉 Other than reversing the design and a busier background, I stayed pretty true to Kate’s composition.
