Saturday Scraplift: Chunky Cuts

Saturday Scraplift: Chunky Cuts

Good morning! Apologies for the slightly tardy SSL. The new blog was not being nice to me. 😉 But I’m here now with an awesome page for inspiration! I just adored Sharon’s (Shannamay) page as soon as I saw it and knew it would make a great scraplift. The cutouts with the shadows and the sweet little bugs are just such a great background to Flora’s photo.

I had a lot of volunteers this week to help me with inspiration on the blog. Up first is Jan (jmgesi) with this awesome autumnal page. She used the leaves to highlight not only a beautiful tree, but also a story about mask breaks outside with the kids at her school. A different memory for sure!

Up next is Kate (OKate) who used the lattice cuts to highlight the gorgeous flowers in her garden. Love the repeated striped paper in the repeated lattice. Subtle but such a great design element.

Chrissy (kikimama) really followed the design layout that Sharon used but chose hearts instead of flowers. Love the colors and her daughter’s sweet smile as she shows off her phone. 🙂

Julie (MaggieMae) has been scrapping precious photos from her granddaughter’s wedding and this one is no exception! She used flowers and butterflies much like Sharon with a soft wedding color palette and it really highlights the photo. All the best to the happy couple!

And finally, for your view pleasure is Rachael’s (myssp) page. Oh these colors just speak to me. Love the soft brushwork in the background, the circular frame of hearts and the sweet cluster of flowers. Could this one be any more precious?

I hope you too are inspired by Sharon’s sweet page. I can’t wait to see what you create! Remember to post your page in the Saturday Scraplift Challenge Gallery and in the October Challenge Sign In Thread in the forum. Happy scrapping!
