Saturday Scraplift: Blended Black Backgrounds

Happy Saturday! Is anyone else drawn to pages with black or dark backgrounds like me? I just really think it can make photos and elements really pop off the page. Hence this week’s chosen lift. I really loved how Amy (Amy L) blended brushes into her black background of her porch page. Along with the  layered white frames and papers I think it really adds to the design.

This week’s inspirations begin with Kathy’s (Blackkathy) stunning page of these precious girls. Love her white brushes on the black background along with her black floral border and her cream layered elements. The whole page is striking!

Lori Ann (lmaggs) created this charming page about changing up her decor as the weather gets colder. First of all, love the idea of a mini fire pit on the table. 🙂 And the page is a great way to feature it. Love all the natural elements in her layerwork.
