Kit-Centric Challenge November 2024

Hello, Valerie (nana_vg) here with this month’s Kit-Centric Challenge post. This month I chose the Hike More Outdoors Kit/Bundle. I think most people will have either outdoor photos to work with the bundle or other photos that will work with the colors. The team has made some amazing and inspiring pages to get your creativity flowing. The challenge for you is to make a page using the kit/bundle on the majority of your page. Most of the team members used the bundle and an additional element or two, but know that using a few other KPD items is totally fine for the challenge. I found the Hike More Outdoors Kit/Bundle to be versatile, as did the team. It’s amazing that we use the same bundle yet create very different layouts.

So, here is the Hike More Outdoors Scrapbooking Bundle. (click on the image to go to the site to purchase — coupon code below):

The coupon code is good for 50% off the scrapbooking kit or bundle. The code is KPD50HIKE. Please note the coupon expires November 30, 2024.

The team happily agreed to make a variety of amazing pages using this amazing scrapbooking bundle. I’m sure it will inspire you to jump in and participate in the challenge.

First up is Guest Creative Team member Kelly, wsprite_ad, with her layout of a single photo with lots of “white” space. I admire anyone who can use white space well.

On her layout, Kelly used only the Hike More Outdoors Scrapbooking Bundle.

Next up is Creative Team member, Stacia, who has gone back ten years to create this layout of her son and a big hike. I love how she’s featured a large photo of her son at a spot in the hike.

For her layout, Stacia used the Hike More Outdoors Scrapbooking Bundle, Hike More Blendable Layers, Hike More Printable Pocket Cards, Hike More Washi Printable Tape Strips, and Mask/Across the Pages Vol 02 LT04 (coming to the store soon.)

One of our newest Creative Team members, Lori, lmaggs, has featured a heartwarming photo taken in the great outdoors. She’s added interest and depth to her layout with the use of varying sizes of rectangle paper pieces.

For her layout, Lori used just the Hike More Outdoors Scrapbooking Bundle.

Julie, a recently returned Creative Team member, made this well designed layout featuring several detail photos of their short hike on the Cathedral Tree Trail. She, too, has used varying sizes of rectangles on her layout.

Julie used the Hike More Outdoors Scrapbooking Bundle and Basic Tags 01.

Creative Team Member, Addie, AddieG, put together a fun layout about her “tree climbing” cat. The framed photos set against the blended photo create an interesting layout.

Addie’s layout features the Hike More Outdoors Scrapbooking Bundle and Painted Photo Masks Brushes and Stamps 02.

I, nana_vg, also took on the challenge using photos of my great grandson and his Mom’s family on a trip to the Oregon Coast.

For my layout, I used only the Hike More Outdoors Scrapbooking Bundle.

My favorite part of any challenge is to see the variety of layouts that can be created from a single collection or example.

I hope these pages have inspired you to make a page with the Hike More Outdoors Kit/Bundle. Dig it out of your stash or purchase new with the coupon code above (expires November 30, 2024.)

Remember to post your page in the Kit-Centric challenge gallery as well as in the November Challenges sign-in thread in the forum.

I look forward to seeing your creativity fill the gallery. Happy scrapping! — Valerie (nana_vg)
