Photo Focus: Mom

It’s my first May hosting the the new photo challenge, so I thought we’d choose a Mother’s Day theme for the first go-around! I hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day. Becoming a mom has completely changed my life and has also made me appreciate my own mother so much more. Let’s honor a mother out there with a page about her. Choose ONE photo and embellish and journal as you wish, including at least a flower, a heart and a piece of motherly word art. Katie has generously provided a FREEBIE PACK and the creative team has come up with a couple of pages for inspiration.

Guest Team Member Rache (Rache77) created this perfect page about her mom. I lov ethe monochrome yellow and clean black lines. Isn’t mom just absolutely beautiful?

And then Creative Team Member Addy (AddieG) made this simple stunning page with a photo of her and her mom. I love the blue and green palette and simple embellishing to set off the photo. They are so lovely together!

I couldn’t find a photo of my mom that I hadn’t scrapped so I chose this one of my kids and I last year on Mother’s Day.
