Sketch Challenge : May

Sketch Challenge: May

Hello everyone, Sharon here with the May sketch challenge. So sorry for the delayed post! I worked an extra day at school this week and it has completely thrown my days and times around.

But here we are … and here is this month’s sketch.

As you can see, this month we have space for one large and three small circular photos – although the circular spots could be replaced by any circular elements. There is a nice journalling spot included this month and buttons and/or flairs galore!

Valerie (nana_vg) has created a beautiful page for a beautiful young lady. She has gone with the circles theme – using lots of ‘advice’ chipboard pieces, even framing one of them with a gorgeous circular frame. The touches of lace are so delicate and fitting for her photo.

I decided to “frame” a poster that my granddaughter Tully designed and back up the story I told with a photo. I chose to clip the same photo to two overlapping circles, and used a chipboard circle for the third.

I hope Valerie and I have inspired you to have a go at creating a page based on this month’s sketch. You can use ALL the elements it includes or pick and choose what best suits your photos.

Katie has put together a freebie that you will find by clicking here

Don’t forget that you can earn shopping rewards this month by posting your 100% KPD layouts in our May Challenge Participation Sign in Thread

Valerie and I hope to see your layouts nest to ours in theĀ Sketch Challenge Gallery

Happy scrapping everyone!
