MOO-Lah-Lah

Hi everyone and welcome to this week’s Saturday Scraplift! Jana here filling in for Wendy, who is enjoying a wonderful vacation in Hawaii! I chose Karen’s (aka grandmak) layout today. I was quickly drawn to her fun photo of cows on a wall. Definitely not something you see everyday! There is much inspiration across her layout and I hope you will create a page of your own.

Guest team member Penny (pennyh) found some amazing food photos which would make anyone smile! Who can make those kind of displays? Not me! I love the beautiful colors and elements she used on her page! I also like the use of more than on kind of stitching and her photo placements.

Penny used these products:

Sunny Skies Layered Template (modified), ARToptions Mini Mix 29 (paper, bow and buttons)

Originally from Wisconsin, Shannon (shannonr) was inspired by the cows. What a wonderful collection of photos from her visit to a farm! I love her country charm with the brushes and dairy elements she used. The hinged frames are great too!

Here is what Shannon used:

Vintage Artistry Countryside Scrapbook Bundle, Vintage Artistry Countryside Sentiment Transfers 01, Country Life Clusters Brushes, Stamps and Layers 01, Country Life Clusters Brushes, Stamps and Layers 02, Vintage Farmhouse Garden Element Pack, Farm Style Blendable Layers 01, Chicken Wire 01, Hinged Photo Frames 08, Partial Page Masks 10, Partial Page Masks 01, Vintage Farmhouse Garden Solids Paper Pack, Assorted Messy Stitches: Brown 02, Big Bottom Lift Classic Frames 03

Valerie (nana_vg) had some cute photos of her granddaughter riding a stick horse! So fun! I love her western style title and of course the horse stickers! The stitched frames within another frame really add some wonderful interest to her page.

Here are the products Valerie used:

Bridle Creek Horse Scrapbook Kit, Bridle Creek Solids Paper Pack, Big Bottom Lift Classic Photo Frames 01, Big Bottom Lift Classic Photo 03, Clean Stitched; Black 01, Clean Stitched Borders 03 White, Palette Textures Paper Pack 01, Wild Horses Brushes and Stamps

I was inspired by the unusual photo on Karen’s page and I also had a unique one to scrap. I chose colors that coordinated with the photo and then cropped it several times to use with the smaller frames. I also added stitching, both horizontal and vertical.

Here is what I used:

Color Swatch Ocean Paper Pack, Spectrum Gardenia Solids Paper Pack, Partial Page Masks 01, Blendability Scrap Pack Layered Templates 03 , Stamped Stitches 13 Brushes and Stamps, Stamped Stitches Stamp Pack 15, Brilliant Life Painted Accents, Big Bottom Lift Classic Frames 03, Swimmies Element Pack, Vintage Artistry Hike Epoxy Stickers, Hey Missy Element Pack, Better Together Layered Template

Feeling inspired? I sure hope so! Please share your own creative pages in the Saturday Scraplift Gallery and also the March Challenges Participation Thread.  Have fun and have a wonderful weekend!
