March Sketch Challenge

Morning everyone, Sharon here with a new sketch challenge for this month.

This is a quick easy layout with one to three long narrow photos and a minimum of elements. Space for title and journalling.

Our challenge freebie includes the frame, ribbons and buttons. In the original layout, I removed one of the dividers to allow myself one photo longer than the other – and this is an option of course as well as removing all dividers to allow for a single long narrow photo.

Three of our CT team have made example layouts for your inspiration! First up we have Angela (amcmillian), who has created the lovely effect of the photo hanging from the ribbon border.

She used:

Monthly Memories Vol 03 Paper Pack 08
Frosted Winter Add-on Paper Pack
Curated Team Favorite Teen Boy Kit
Fastened Frames 10
Fine Stems Stamp Pack 04
Indigo Garden Sentiment Stamps 02
Watery Celebration Brushes & Stamps 01/
Curated Studio Mix Scrapbooking Kit 36

Next up we have Penny (pennyh) with her lovely Springtime layout. She has chosen a series of small frames to highlight those lovely blooms. I love the way she has altered a Layered Template and that “waterfall” patterned paper is delightful!

She has used:

Layer Works 953
Chunky Sentiments 05
Monthly Memories Vol. 03: Paper Pack 01

Last of all we have Stacia’s gorgeous page. She has chosen an alternative frame from the same element pack to better suit her photo selection and she has also used the white space at the bottom of the sketch to add a blended photo. Brilliant!

She has used:

Clipped Stacks 13
Grunged Up Alphabet 05
Artsy Bookshelf Turq Value Pack
Frame and Blend Story Layered Templates 03
Color Muse: Keen Value Pack
Color Study: Brown Paper Pack
Assorted Messy Stitches 07 Super Pack

Our talented artists will be placing their pages in the Sketch Challenge Gallery soon and I look forward to seeing your page there sometime this month too! Oh! Don’t forget to add your 100% KPD product page to the March Sign-in Participation Thread in the forums to earn store rewards at the end of February!

Happy Scrapping!
