Love It + List It: This or That

We’re changing it up just a bit for this month’s Love It + List It challenge. Instead of giving you a topic and asking you to come up with a list, I’m giving you the list and asking you to react to it. It’s a “this or that” challenge. If you give this one a thumbs up, I’ll work some other “this or that” prompts in on occasion. You can design your page to incorporate the entire list, or you can focus on a specific item – your choice! Carol and Kathy joined me in taking on this challenge. First, here’s the original “this or that” list we used for inspiration:

I love that Carol (carollee) included her husband Mike and his choices on her page. Theirs must be a marriage made in heaven because their answers reveal so much agreement. This makes me want to quiz my own husband – lol! Carol’s design selections are spot on, as always: that stitched central panel and those brightly colored labels – perfection.

Kathy’s (Blackkathy) beautifully artistic page just makes me swoon. I adore her color scheme; the lovely, balancing clusters; and the sketch technique she used on her photo. Based on our responses to the prompt, Kathy and I would get along just fine.

I’m obsessed with Katie’s spiral pages and take any opportunity to use them. They seem tailor-made for these list challenges, and I love how real they look when I add some labels, photos, and various bits and pieces. Just can’t get enough of them!
