Love It + List It: Facing Our Fears

The Love It + List It Challenge this month is all about facing our fears – eek! What are you afraid of? What scares the bejeebers out of you? What makes your skin crawl? Feel free to scrap a list of your fears or to focus on the one at the top of your list. Shannon and Valerie, two of my fellow Creative Team members, joined me in sharing our fears on a scrapbook page. And to get you thinking, here’s a list of some common fears:

Shannon (shannonr) scrapped about an experience with bedbugs that haunts her still. She’s a great storyteller, and I also love how she used brushes and word art to underscore the theme of her page. Of course, now every time I stay in a hotel, I’ll be thinking about Shannon’s experience – lol.

The more I learn about Valerie (nana_vg) from her pages, the more I think we’re related somewhere along the line. My sister from another mother is also afraid of snakes and heights. She used Kelly’s cool new Clipboard Memories template series to tell her story perfectly. But a snake on my belly – no way!

I’m not afraid of too many things, but snakes are definitely my greatest fear. It’s even hard for me to watch a TV show about them; they just make me shiver. Since I would never get close enough to photograph an actual snake, I took to Pixabay for my photos and kept the page fairly simple to focus on my journaling.
