Kit-Centric September 2024

Hello, Valerie (nana_vg) here with this month’s Kit-Centric Challenge post. Katie’s Vintage Artistry designs are gorgeous. I especially like the one I chose for this month’s challenge. This month we will be using the Vintage Artistry Serenity Scrapbooking Bundle. The team has made some amazing and inspiring pages to get your creativity flowing. The challenge for you is to make a page using the bundle on the majority of your page. Most of the team members used the bundle and an additional element or two, but know that using a few other KPD items is totally fine for the challenge. I found the Vintage Artistry Serenity Bundle to be versatile, as did the team.

So, here is the Vintage Artistry Serenity Scrapbooking Bundle. (click on the image to go to the site to purchase — coupon code below):

The coupon code is good for 50% off the scrapbooking bundle. The code is KPDSEP50. Please note the coupon expires September 30, 2024.

The team happily agreed to make some amazing pages using this amazing scrapbooking bundle. I’m sure it will inspire you to jump in and participate in the challenge.

First up is Lori Ann, lmags, a Guest CT Member, who used a gorgeous black and white photo to feature with the Serenity Bundle. Black and White photos are so timeless, and they really work when there are many colors in the photos or distracting elements. I need to remember to use black and white photos more often. They can be striking.

Lori Ann used the Vintage Artistry Serenity Scrapbooking Bundle and Spot Dots Photo Masks 02.

Next, Shannon, shannonr, a Creative Team Member, recently visited Monument Valley where she took beautiful photos of the Teardrop Arch. She has several other layouts in her gallery from that trip. I love the large photo covering the entire width of her layout. Then she topped it off with element clusters from Serenity to highlight it.

Shannon used Vintage Artistry Serenity Scrapbooking Bundle, Vintage Artistry Serenity Sentiment Transfers 02, Artsy Bookshelf Layers 01, and Partial Page Masks 11.

Our third sample layout is from Merrilee, digigrandma, who captured a fisherman, fishing on his birthday, with his catch. Merrilee uses various sentiments as elements on her layout which tell her story.

Merrilee used the Vintage Artistry Serenity Scrapbooking Bundle on her layout.

Rachael, myssp, a Creative Team Member, is one of several team members who are amazing with layering and clustering. I love the single photo with multiple frames and layering behind it.

Rachael used the Vintage Artistry Serenity Scrapbooking Bundle and Layer Works 2184. Layer Works are templates with all the frames and elements included, and they are easily customizable. Additionally, you can use individual elements from any of them to use on another layout.

And finally, I, nana_vg, used the Vintage Artistry Serenity Bundle, Big Bottom Lift Classic Photo Frames 01, and Circle Frame Layers 01 to document one of my granddaughter’s move-in on her first day of college.

My favorite part of any challenge is to see the variety of layouts that can be created from a single collection or example.

I hope these pages have inspired you to make a page with the Vintage Artistry Serenity Scrapbooking Bundle. Dig it out of your stash or purchase new with the coupon code above (expires September 30, 2024.)

Remember to post your page in the Kit-Centric challenge gallery as well as in the September Challenges sign-in thread in the forum.

I look forward to seeing your creativity fill the gallery. Happy scrapping! — Valerie (nana_vg)
