iTunes Challenge: June

Hi everyone, it’s Trace (tracermajig) here and welcome to the June iTunes Cover Challenge!

When I saw this album, I was immediately drawn into the design. I love the vibrant colours and I also love those clusters of tropical plants poking out around the bricks. I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone creates!

Katie has provided a freebie to get you started but it’s not necessary to use it in the challenge.

I always enjoy seeing what our team come up with for this challenge. It never ceases to amaze me how many different pages we get from one inspiration piece.

Amy’s  (Amy L) wonderful patriotic page just shows that you don’t have to follow the tropical theme of the inspiration piece. I love how she used the brick in her background and the wire grid behind her photo. The red flowers and blue stars are a great substitute for the tropical plants!

Mel (Britgirl) used this design to scrap a new member of her family. I am so inspired by the simple design and how she blended the wood paper and foliage into the background. I love the details Mel adds to her pages and the little mouse on the bottom of her frame really made me smile. Can you spot him?

Lori Ann (lmaggs) took on the coral and blue colour scheme and the result is so beautiful! I love how those gorgeous flowers extend outside the frame. The blended bricks and florals in the corners are a great addition! I also love how she was also able to include the wire behind her cluster of elements.

I (tracermajig) was completely drawn into the tropical vibes of this album cover. I loved the foliage, the wire and also the coral colour. This page came together so quickly and I love how it turned out.
