iTunes Challenge: July

Welcome back to another iTunes challenge! I know it’s summer for our friends in the northern hemisphere so I went in search of some warm, tropical inspiration for July!

I think this kind of design would make a wonderful vacation album cover. I also think you could create a border with a variety of different elements and motifs, not just palm fronds! Or you could forget about a theme altogether and concentrate on a beautiful, big picture background!

How stunning is this big picture page from Shannon (shannonroller)? I love the way she used the palms to frame her smaller photos. If you look closely she also blended some palms into her background photo as well. It makes for such an eye catching page!

Brenda’s (bbe) page is simply adorable! I love the big picture background but there are also some hidden gems on her page. The background paper and palm tree look as though they are part of the photo!

I (tracermajig) loved the big photo design, as well. I was also inspired by the central focus and beach theme of the album cover. That’s where I started and from there I tried to make it my own style by adding in lots of layers and clusters over the background photo. I love how this turned out and would also like to try this design with a few different themes!
