Time For Us Layered Template

Layer Works 2136

Our Creative Team has designed some terrific inspiration pages to give you some ideas of how the templates can be mashed.  The first page is designed by Valerie (nana_vg). On her page, Valerie documents something that’s always a fun time-time for a new vehicle! She used the offset photo to create a perfect spot for her journaling. I really like the way she grounded her page by turning the filmstrip on it’s side. Valerie also used a background paper from ARToptions Mini Mix 17.

Merrilee (digigrandma) designed our next inspiration page.  This is a perfect example of how versatile this challenge can be! Merrilee used the same frame and filmstrip and even pretty much the same colors as Valerie, but a totally different subject matter for a totally different look to her page!   All the natural elements she used definitely enhanced her beautiful photo. In addition to the featured templates, Merrilee used Color Swatch Combo Ocean Breeze Gypsy Journal.

Lori Ann’s (lmaggs) lovely page uses the same frame and filmstrip as the previous two pages but again her page has a completely different theme and look! Leaving white space around her photo cluster really calls attention to her sweet photo.  Her crossed filmstrips frame out the cluster perfectly. I love the addition of the clock! Lori Ann also used Sacked Solids Paper Pack 02.

Our final inspiration page was designed by Stacia (stacia).  Look at that! There’s that same frame and filmstrip but still another topic and look!  The cluster of elements surrounding her fun photos is so creative! The stitched on page frame adds a wonderful finishing touch to Stacia’s page. Stacia also used Krafty Garden Essential Transfers 01, Vintage Artistry Countryside Add-On Paper Pack, Lost Lace Paper Pack 01, Layer Works 298.

We hope these inspiration pages have given you lots of ideas of ways to mash these templates. If you design your own mashed up page, please post it in the Template Challenge Gallery.  If you also add a link to your page to the September Challenge Sign-in page, you can earn a valuable coupon to the KPD store.  Happy September mashing!
