Color Challenge: A sense of autumn

Hi, it’s Chrissy here, welcome to October’s Color Challenge! I can definitely feel the shift in the seasons, with cooler air, crunchy leaves and changing colours. Fall really is a feast for all the senses! I do love a nature walk, so used this in my inspiration for the challenge.

Image by Johannes Plenio on Unsplash. I can imagine this palette for outdoors pages, or for pages about fall recipes – whether that’s pumpkin spice or warming soups. 

Three members of the creative team jumped in to create pages for this challenge, and I love what they created!

First up is Amy (AmyL) with this fabulous page. The colours are perfect for these excellent photos of a garden visitor, and I love how she used the metal grid as an element which anchors the photos without overpowering them. The foliage behind this is also a lovely touch!

Next up is Lynns54 with this lovely page. I love the serene view in the photo, and the elegant element choice allows it to shine. The delicate titlework is perfect.

Last but certainly not least is Emma (EmmaLeigh) with this wonderful page. I love the layers here, both in the stack which is topped by the photo, and in the layers of leaves, flowers and butterflies. I also want to walk along this street, with those tall, stately trees.
