Saturday Scraplift challenge: Pic-in-Pic

I don’t know what it’s like where you live, but here in Charleston it is hot and humid, a perfect day to sit with the AC blasting and scrap. This week we are lifting this beautiful page by Rachel (rache77). I love all the watery masks in the background and the extended photo. So much to be inspired by.

A few of us tried our hand at a lift. Brenda (bbe) found this awesome and flourished mask, which works perfectly for her gorgeous flowers in the corner. Gorgeous background and super cute photo complete her page

Here is what she used:
stamped-blocks-18-brushes-and-stamps/ – botanicals-paper-pack-01/ – watercolor-word-blocks-stamp-pack-04/ – watery-typecast-sentiments-11/
blendable-layers-composite-paper-pack-10/
This next page is by Lori (lmaggs). Another wonderful example of how to make the center of your photo stand out by a little overlay. Notice also the blended frame…

Here is a list of her supplies:

The last example is what I came up with. I love the watery background and tried to extend my photos a little past the framing. Of course how you resist this face 🙂

I sure hope that these pages inspired you to give the lift a try.  Don’t forget to post your page in the Saturday Scraplift Challenge Gallery as well as in the July Challenge Participation Sign-in thread. As always, enjoy the process 🙂
