2nd April Template Mashup: Multi-Photo Pages

Hi all! It’s Barbara (grantlaurensmom) here with April’s second Template Mashup Challenge. I really enjoy scrapping multi-photo pages, so I dug in the archives a bit and chose two templates that I thought would work great together for multi-photo pages. Additionally, I was super drawn to the great title work and element clusters in these templates, so I think I’ve got some great templates for you to play with for this challenge!
If this is your first time joining us on a template challenge, the rules are super simple: take parts from each of the two chosen templates (whatever parts inspire you!) and use them to create a page of your own. It is completely OK to add a couple of additional KPD elements or papers if you’d like, but please keep it to just designs from KPD. When you’re done with your page, post it in the Template Mashup Challenge Gallery and also in the April Challenge Participation Thread in the forum to earn points towards a store discount for completing challenges.
I hope these two templates inspire you to document your memories! And also, these pages will be on sale in case you don’t already have them in your stash!

To help get your creative juices flowing, several members of our creative team were inspired to pay along with this challenge and created some lovely pages to share with you. Let’s take a look, shall we?!
First up is this cute Easter-y (I’m not sure Easter-y is a real word, but for me, I say it is!) page by Valerie (nana_vg):
Her page is so bright and fun and I ADORE her journaling from the Easter bunny! In addition to the templates, Valerie put her page together using Dreamy Paper Pack 03, Spring Meadows Scrapbook Kit, and Spring Meadows Solids Paper Pack.
Penny (pennyh) was also kind enough to put together a sample page for all us.
I love the happy faces and that “Yes, Just Right, Smile” element cluster is perfection. Penny created her page using just the templates and a great textured solid background paper from the Wildwoods Solids Paper Pack.
I’ve also got this super springy page from Mel (Britgirl) to share with you. Those beautiful bluebells make me smile!
I love the doileys peeking out and the way she wove the string in the title, and also… I love that in addition to the great closesup shots (LOVE the shot with the lady bug), that she also included the distance shot showing the woodland path. In addition to the templates, Mel created her page using Naturally Krafty Paper Pack 15, Lightly Linens Paper Pack 07, Cardstock Alphabet: Whimsey Chocolate (I don’t have this alpha in my stash yet, but for me, I think it’s a “must have”, and finally, she used Lesson Book Paper Pack.
Here’s another beauty that Merrilee (digigrandma) created for this challenge:
I like the way she combined the element clusters and used the repeating pinks. What a great page! In addition to the templates she also used Spectrum Gardenia Painted Foundations Paper Pack, Waterworks Textures Paper Pack 01, and Heart Pebbles 05
And, finally, here’s the page I (grantlaurensmom) couldn’t resist creating for this challenge:
I loved the titlework and just did a little recoloring and stuck with a blue and yellow theme. After mashing the templates for my photos, I used papers from Watercolor Rainbow Paper Pack 03, and Watercolor Rainbow Patterned Paper Pack 01.
I hope these pages have inspired you! I want to thank my team members Valerie, Penny, Mel and Merrilee for providing me with their beautiful example pages. Please join in on the challenge by creating your own page, using parts of both of the featured templates. Please post your pages in the Template Mashup Challenge Gallery and the April 2026 Challenge Thread in the forum.
Thanks for looking and playing along, and we look forward to seeing your pages in the gallery!
Happy Scrapping!
Barbara
