Sketch Challenge: June

Hello everyone!

Sharon here with a new Sketch Challenge for you!

I love to go way back in my stash or the store to find an element that I haven’t used in a long while and use it as the basis of a page.

This design is based on one of Katie’s Circle Borders:

I liked the idea of using the circle as a “clip” for the photo, but also as a space to house a flair or other circular element. And so . . . here is this month’s sketch.

As usual, you may interpret the sketch any way you choose! Flip it – swap the double for a single frame – layer up the paper strips – use tags for the strips etc etc

Katie has made up a freebie for us that includes the circle border featured as well as a double and a single frame. You can download it HERE

Some of our talented CT members have already taken on the challenge.

Valerie and Addie stuck pretty close to the sketch to create these beautiful layouts.

Valerie first:

And then Addie’s:

Stacia switched to a single photo which she fitted into the circle border. She has added brushes and extra paper elements to her background to create this striking piece:

I scrapped Claire’s 37th birthday (how did THAT happen??), and used tickets and tags in place of the paper strips.

I do hope we have inspired you to scrap a memory. Valerie, Addie, Stacia and I would love to have you join us in the Sketch Challenge Gallery. We’ll be posting our pages there with complete credits shortly!

Don’t forget that if you post your 100% KPD product page in the June Challenge Participation Thread you can earn store rewards!

Happy scrapping everyone!
