As I’ve gotten older, I remind myself so much of my mother. I LOVE that. I see so much of her in me, not necessarily in looks although I often catch myself in the mirror and it’s Mum looking back at me, but I love that I have a lot of her traits, her personality, her outlook and so much more. She was a good person and so am I. She was so very kind and so am I. She would chat to anybody and so will I. She liked her own company and so do I. She didn’t like staying away from home and neither do I. She saw the good in most people and so do I. She would laugh at silly things and so do I.
I love all these similarities between her and I and I know she is looking down, shaking her head at this crazy mad world while I’m trying to make sense of it all down here.
