Shortcut for Using Grids in Photoshop and PSE

I've been using Photoshop and Elements for years but I'm still learning the ins-and-outs of the program. This week I ran across a new-to-me shortcut for using grids, so I'm passing it along to you!

When you are working on a project and you need to align images on the page, press Ctrl ' (Mac: Cmd ') to see Photoshop's grids appear on the document. Using the lines, you can position page elements exactly where you'd like them to be spaced. Press Ctrl ' (Mac: Cmd ') again to hide the grids if you find them distracting as you complete the page.

If the grids are turned on when you save or print, don't worry. They will not appear in the final product. They are only visible in the layered working file to help you as you work in the software.

This quick and easy shortcut is especially helpful for aligning alphas, evenly spacing frames and distributing other elements as you work on your project.
