Striated Heron

First time seeing one of these cuties on our lake. At first I thought it was a baby Great Blue Heron, but apparently not. They are definitely different looking and are only about a foot high.

Beautiful capture! I like the repetition of the notebook look in the mask, journal and filmstrip!

I think it is a juvenile little green heron. I love how you scrapped him. I have quite a few photos of the adults but I haven't seen a juvenile yet.
