This boy of ours LOVES the beach. Oupa and I picked him up from nursery and on the way home we stopped off for a quick paddle in the sea. To walk down to the waters edge with him, his little hand in mine, was one of the best feelings ever. Oh how I’ve longed for moments like this! I feel super lucky to have this opportunity of our extended stay and I know I’ll be forever grateful and thankful. On these days, the wet jeans and leggings are worth it. The wet car seats are worth it. And all the sand in the car, each and every annoying grain, is worth it. And so is this boys smile!
