There’s nothing like an early new year bike ride to liven up the senses for the challenges and achievements a fresh round of 365 days may bring. Jack and Charlie got new bikes for Christmas and I love that Jodie just lets them be... mud and all!
Also love the “all wrapped up against the cold” selfie that Jodie took. Oh my... those blue eyes that both she and Charlie have!
In other news, Vincent and I flew back to the UK on Wednesday and, despite having a negative PCR for the flight home, I tested positive for Covid on Friday. Bummer. I felt a little rough over the weekend and got a tad irritated that I didn’t have the energy to unpack or to do laundry.
I’ve no idea what 2022 will bring but I do know that there’s not very much that surprises me anymore. Let’s hope not anyway.
