Darling Ace, how did we get so lucky to have you join our family? You are a feisty little fellow, you know what you want but you don’t have listening ears! You are your Daddy, you are your Mummy and you are your big sister all rolled into one. As you turned one this week, you took your first steps and, oh my, how proud you are! You enjoyed birthday lollies at Tokkie’s with your little friends and one of your gifts was an awesome activity rocket from Mummy, Daddy and Ava. You’ve certainly been a shining light over the last year and I love how you interact with us over FaceTime. It’s not ideal, I know, because I desperately want to cuddle you, tickle your tummy and play this little piggie with you and I will... one day. Oupa wants to sit with you and tell you stories. He wants to nap with you and see your sweet face the moment he wakes. And he will... one day. We want to tell you about Auntie Jodie and your cousins, Jack and Charlie, until you meet them yourself. And you will... one day. I’m excited to see you develop and grow over your next 12 months, gorgeous boy and I really hope we get to share some of it with you in person!
