I’m loving the new recap templates. Just have to get my head around a different format...change is so hard!!

Journaling:
We spent most of the week hanging around the house, playing the new XBox, eating and drinking! Chris went back to work but the kids and I were here playing with the dog and relaxing. We met up a couple of times at Pat Quinn’s for “happy hour” since we can’t really have anyone over to the house. Nick did join us for New Year’s Eve since he lives alone and can’t go anywhere. It was quiet and super enjoyable with cheese fondue and lots of special foods and an amazing 2015 Caymus wine! Of course we enjoyed Champagne at midnight and made a bit of noise! At noon on New Year’s day we headed out to Centennial Beach for our annual dip in the water. There was no official polar bear swim this year of course, but Rann and Tara and the kids came down and he and Ella joined Ineke and me as we brought in the new year with a very chilly dip in the Pacific Ocean! The rest of the holiday we spent at home and walking the dog. Not really looking forward to getting back to real life on Monday.
