Journaling: It’s not often that we get a date night by ourselves (maybe every 4-6 months) and this was also our first time celebrating our anniversary in a couple of years thanks to covid. The kids went to Nana and Pa’s and we had a restaurant booking for a quiet, kid free dinner! There were no extravagant plans and we don’t even bother with presents anymore but it was so nice to sit and chat and just be. A lot has happened and changed in 17 years and I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. Love you, babe. With all my heart! 1. Two beautiful kids 2. Finally engaged 3. Job changes 4.
