On Christmas Eve. Jojo and Mitch went to Petco to pick up cat food and discovered a Chinchilla was up for adoption. When they got home, Jojo immediately got on her computer and began researching how to take care of such a critter, and by the 26th, we were back at Petco picking her up! It took over a week for Jojo to pick a name that she thought was fitting, but she finally settled on Thumbelina, Lina for short! For the first week, Lina would not let us touch her, hiding and "barking" at us if we got too close, but we all persisted, and today, she is the cutest and most fun critter we've had yet!
