STORY SCRAPBOOK CHALLENGE : WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO

Looking forward to the Holiday seasonal feelings of anticipation and excitement. We don’t get a lot of Treat or Treaters anymore but there is this feeling I get when it is Halloween, the feeling of past Halloween memories of when the kids were young helping them get in their costumes and bringing them trick or treating . Along with every other memory that goes along with it. We enjoy reminiscing. Thankfully we have the Grandbabies now to keep the season in check, so much fun. I love the anticipation of making the Thanksgiving dinner for all, getting together the menu and deciding my table setup. The joy of seeing everyone enjoying the meal and the conversation and laughs. Then there is Christmas, the big Holiday, I start early buying gifts and making my Christmas cookie list. I am not a Black Friday shopper by no means, though. Decorating the house and the tree, sitting on the living room floor with a glass of eggnog watching a Christmas movie and wrapping gifts. I look forward to it all, because I know it means we will all be gathering together for that hectic, yet fun and crazy time. It is all coming fast, so I am staying focused on one Holiday at a time !!
