Sunday was the first day that I could go to in person worship for two months due to the rules the church made about COVID numbers. We still had to wear masks even though the state has lifted the indoor mask mandate but it was so wonderful to return to the church sanctuary. We got stones to transfer our concerns to and medallions to remind us of Lent. And I was invited to take a Lenten study book and go to a small group Sunday school after church. That also felt so good. I haven't done anything like that in a very long time and it felt so good to be able to share about our faith journeys together. We talked about "lament" during class so I decided to scrap about lament.
