The story of the ½” = 1 foot light house – I have been looking for 1 at shows since 2019…. I was told they couldn’t give it away at the last show…. back in 2019
Sunday I was at the mini show and once again no light houses.
Mickey needed to run home to do an errand for Linda – I tagged along so I could see the collection… I saw this light house on the shelf - when we got back to the show I asked Linda if it was something she was selling – I needed to ask Mickey he made it and he wanted to sell it - $100 later and it was mine.
We drove back home and put it in my car – the house was filled with treasures including a motorcycle in the kitchen and a boat in the bedroom. Mickey told stories from when they were young and worked on the steamships 53 years later there is still so much love between them its amazing to see.
When I saw Cori’s page Sunday shortly after I got it home the same day I knew what I wanted - it was perfect inspiration for the itunes challenge.
