So now that I've decided to jump back into PL, I really have to push myself to document the events/milestones/thoughts that aren't everyday life. I feel like I've missed documenting the kids and ACK...the twins just turned 15!!!! How did that happen???? I don't want to miss out when there is so little time left.

Journaling: Bas, you are without a doubt one of the brainiest people I’ve ever met. I am so impressed with your breadth of knowledge and your insatiable curiosity. I’ve never known anyone who watches more documentaries and instructional videos just to learn more about how things work or to figure out a problem. You are creative and musical and not to mention one of the most committed sports players ever. You practice lacrosse diligently, trying to improve all aspects of your game. You can show great patience when you are explaining things like math to your sister and you are always affectionate. There isn’t a morning that goes by when you don’t give me a hug first thing. Lately, you’ve been asking me if there is anything that you can do to help out and I really appreciate the offer. I really wish that you would consistently comb your hair, but I guess that if it is all I have to complain about, then we are pretty lucky! You are really turning into such a special young man and I can’t wait to see where your path leads.
