This old picture makes me smile. Although they are a lot younger than when I knew them, I remember this fun group of Norwegians! I wonder if some of the family missed "the old country".
Fabulous page for this amazing and wonderful photo! If your relatives from Norway were like my relatives from Sweden, they were very grateful to be in America, but, of course missed the old country and so they carried on many traditions to remind them of their birth place, especially at holiday time.
What a great photo! and the design with so much white is wonderful. I agree with Merr that sometimes there was a slight poignant feeling at the holidays in remembering the old country.
