Grandson of Slither

All snakes in our yard are given a name related to the original snake "Slither". Given we've had pythons in our yards for more than 20 years, this one really should be Great (*8) Grandson of Slither. Pythons are not really dangerous to us but we would never let an animal sleep outside at night as they take small dogs and cats etc. Roseanna, one of our hounds, was sniffing its skin which is a tad too close. Luckily its head was off the verandah and not in a position to coil around her.
