Journaling: School runs a behaviour reward program every term. At the end of each term all of the students who receive a gold, silver or bronze behaviour certificate get to participate in an end of term celebration day. The kids are 100% in control of their eligibility to participate in rewards day because they are in control of their behaviour. Linc has worked hard ever since year 2 to maintain gold level behaviour. It’s a goal he set for himself and he maintains it! Poppy has always achieved a silver behaviour level but as she has got older she has also set her sights on the gold. The hard work paid off and she achieved gold at the end of term 2! She was so excited to run out after school and show me (and her big brother) her certificate. Both kids end of semester report cards also matched up with their behaviour and we were so proud of them. We’re so glad they both love school and are thriving in their own ways.
