Journaling: The last 12 months has really opened my eyes to a lot of things and I have changed. I have been reminded to step back and really take notice of what is important. And do you know what? I paid attention. All I am focused on these days is being happy. I have no intentions of sailing through life on a hamster wheel of stress and chaos. And no, my head isn’t in the clouds. I know hard times will come and go through all of my life but I learned some very valuable lessons these past 12 months on how to deal with them. I am confident that for every challenge that is thrown my way, I will come out the other side a little wiser and a whole lot stronger. Dylan and I are so proud of how we handled this past year and we are happy and busy making plans big and small. We will never again take for granted the ability to exhale. I know I say that from privileged position of having come out the other side of a major storm. I know that the next storm may be greater and more challenging but for now... For now I am grateful for this. For today. I really do want chill vibes only. No drama, no chaos, no flakiness. Just happy.
