For many years, I've been having camping week during the last full week of school. Each day the students get to do a different camping themed rotation. I set up a tent so they can read in it. I set up a circle of camp chairs, and they do camping-themed grammar task cards. I created camping themed math review cards for students to do with me. My husband created a FABULOUS fake campfire that even has a flickering LED light. I also put a campfire background video up on my Smartboard for ambience! This year I finally got to have camping week. Last year we were social distancing, so I skipped it. And, of course, in 2020 school was closed.
I loved the GET INSPIRED challenge. I used the colors, the wooden letters combined with plants, and the gold dots.
