I don't get to see them very often but every once in awhile, at least one eagle is at a nest that I discovered last year. This was the best photo I got today of this one.
Great photo, Shannon. They are majestic birds. We see them all summer at our lake cabin. They soar overhead and then sometimes we see them dive for a fish. I remember a time when they were almost extinct. They have come back beautifully and I am so glad.
